Preconceived facts?
Do you think we have strange animals, are a couple of blonde rich guys who talks in a "singing" way?
Maybe these things are true, in Sweden we have a good standard for a average inhabit. Almost every grownup owns atleast one car, have a nice living, get's good food everyday on their table and so on. But are we rich? NO, we aren't rich at all, we have very few people that are rich. You could have it good, a higher standard, but not rich. And are we goodlooking? maybe we are, we have exported alot of models to americe, swedish blondes, the true "babe"!
I'm acctually not a blogging person and totally forgot about this blog. And for that I'm very sorry.
But back to the subject, strange animals? I don't think so, we have the most boring animals on the planet. NO color, and just, scared, hiding animals.
This is Elin Grindemyr, a very famous Swedish model!

Music!
Sweden is a musictalented country I belive. We've had Abba, we have Robyn, and lots of names that you maybe don't know. But we are good in music, and I know that In Flames are hugh in Japan! It's metal-rock. I've seen them twice, and they are for sure talented!

We like music in Sweden, Myself I think i'm addicted too music. I even sleep with it.

Facts about Sweden
Mayby you already knew that in Sweden, people love alcohol. We really drink alot here, I don't know why, but we do, and it feels like we've always done too. Maybe it's because of the cold winters and that vodka makes you warm inside.
In weekends Swedes become drunk as hell, everybody goes to "systembolaget" and buy their liqour. Because it's only their you are allowed too buy it, and you must be 20 years old to buy it there. Otherwise you could ask somebody to "buy out" for you, which almost everybody does too their friends or family. I think that almost every fifteen year old teen have been drunk. It's really common in Sweden. It's a bit weird, since alot of shit happens when you are drunk. For example there are alot of fights and rapes.
The druglaws in Sweden are hard, really hard! You arn't allowed to have anything. Almost everything is forbidden, for example it's illegal too posses medical perparations that you are forced to have a recipe for, if you don't have a recipe ofcourse. And the other drugs that are common in the world like marijuana, exstacy, LSD, cocain and so on.
This is pretty good, but maybe the punishments are too hard sometimes, it can mess your life up just possesing these kind of stuff.
But you always have too take your consequence of your actions.

Olympic Games are on! And so are Sweden!
In Sweden we love sports! Let me tell you that the common swede also thinks we are best in every sport.
When the olympic games are, Sweden always count with a couple of medals, doesn't matter what year, or if it's the summer or winter games. But I should not deny that we arn't that bad! Look now for example, it's Olympic Gmes in Vancouver, I hope none of you have missed THAT! Sweden have taken 7 medals by now, 3 gold, 2 brnoze and 2 silver.
But the most common sports in Sweden is Icehockey and Football. Alot of youths play either one or both sports since it's a seasonal sport. I do have alot of friends that are good in both. And one other sport that we are successful in is floorball! I think we've won a lot of times.

This is Pictures of the Swedish National team.
Other hobbies that aren't that big as Icehockey and Football is working out, fishing, Volleyball, Tennis, Skiing.
I think sweden is a pretty active country. We arn't lazy even if we sometimes think that about ourselves.

Did you know this...
Hi! Did you know there are some swedish words that you can't translate correct?
We have for example a word called "Lagom", in a practial example it means, say you are eating a birthday cake, you should take soo much that it's enough for everyone.
We also have a classic sausage that we eat, it's called "Falukorv". I don't know how to translate it, (dangerou-sausage?) but it's a very thick sausage that's often shaped like a pretzel.
Also we call a tiny village "glesbygd", the easiest way to translate it is too call it rural area.
The biggest difference between swedish and say english is that we use only one word in swedish when english often uses more then one, for example sore muscles is "träningsvärk".
This is the weirdest word that I could find translatet with Google translate - "Skadeglädje" is suppose to be Schadenfreude, a word stolen from the German language.
And if you are going out on a as we call it "fika" you go out for a coffee, or a hanker?
And a word that the english language completely misses is the word "dygn", it's a word that descibes a 24 hours period. You would say day, but that's also a word for describing the condition for "the day". And how do you say the day after tomorrow in one word? we say "övermorgon". You couldn't say the day before yesterday either, we say "förrgår".
You are also very bad at telling us about your elderly folks. Like grandmother and grandfather, you could only explaine that by saying Paternal before grandmother for example. In swedish we say "mormor/morfar" to maternal grandmother/father and we say "farmor/farfar" to paternal grandmother/father. We could also discuss the word for brothers and sisters, siblings, do you think it's okay too use? In swedish we say "syskon".
The magnificent swedish nature have something special too, namely the "fjäll", you would perhaps say mountain or peak, but that's not correct since we have translations for these words already. ( Berg och toppar).
The last example of the simple swedish language is "Ni", "vi" and "dem". These are words that you in many languages pronounce after what sex or what gender shape the sentence are build up on. Really hard too even explain it.

A swedish "days-off" trip.
Good day Wanda. I wanna tell you about a place where you could go on a weekend or if you got some days off.
This really depends on who you are as a person, and if your going with a friend or a partner.
I'm gonna tell you about a extreamly swedish thing too do, going with a big ferry, going often to Finland or Estonia.
This is a cheap way to get away and have axess to tax-free shopping. These kind of trips have become more common since the ferry grow bigger and bigger, and with that comes more luxury.
There is even a show on Swedish Tv that have the name "the Ferry". I don't know much about Japan, but I have never heard of a Ferry loving place like Scandinavia. You could go for spa, have a nice dinner, try out wines and a whole lot of other stuff.
It's also a popular thing to do before you graduate, then companies arranges cruises only for examining students.
Somehow, I have personally missed all this fun, I have never in my whole life gone for a ferry trip.
This is Håkan, and he is one of the main characters on the reality show "the ferry"

But I'm definitly going! I got a present from my mom by christmas, a spa experience for two people where you could choose going on a ferry.

Todays lesson Wanda!
Goodafternoon, it's 18.10 local time! Today we are gonna have a LESSON about the swedish school system as you asked for.
To start with, the basics. Everyone in Sweden that is 6 years old is starting to go too school, first class och the "preparing year". Later on this system goes on until you start the 7th grade by the time you are 13 years old.
Now you are allowed to get marks in school, earlier you have only got "recommendations".
But let's get back to buisness, in 7th , 8th and 9th grade you will get marks until your "graduation" after 9th grade, you will then be 15/16 years old.
That was the compulsory school in Sweden. But if you are gonna get a better job and so on, you will need to continue further 3 years in high school. Let me also tell you that so far, so good everything is for free! You even get contribution from authorities. Here you can choose what you wanna study, for example i study a "science" class, alot of math and psyics. But there are a hole forest of different programs. Like electrician, builder, nurse, economics, chef, and you name it.
The special thing with my own program is that the alignment is too airplanes. And this is special, I live on my own, because I had too move from my home town to find this program.
This is a typical swedish school for 1st to 6th grade!
Ofcourse we also have College in Sweden, and this is like anywhere else, you could come over here from Japan and study something you like!
